tina anderson (Set Design) has recently designed the sets for Painted Bread and Reaching for Comfort, two original scripts produced by Theatre On Broadway. Prior to those, she designed and constructed the sets for the Wolf Academy at the Shwayder Theatre at the Mizel Center, which comprised A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Once Upon a Mattress and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
shelly bordas (Office Manager) has enjoyed eight wonderful years with Theatre Group. When not serving patrons at the box office, she can be seen on stage. Theatre Group credits include Psycho Beach Party, SubUrbia, Tony and Tina’s Wedding, Beautiful Thing, Parallel Lives, and Cell Block Sirens of 1953 just to name a few. She is also a proud playwright and director of Tee Vee or Not Tee Vee, which recently premiered at the Phoenix Theatre.
rhonda brown (Kitty) Local stage credits include Five Women Wearing the Same Dress and Ghostlight, both at The Everyman Theatre Company and Comic Potential at The Aurora Fox. After receiving her theatre degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Rhonda stayed in Los Angeles pursuing film and television roles. he was lucky enough to get a few – Film: The Reluctant Vampire with Adam Ant and Necromancer. TV: Raven, Reasonable Doubts, ER and The Golden Girls. Rhonda is thrilled to be acting and living happily in Colorado.

lorrin c. dyer (Stage Manager) wishes to thank Billie, Nick and Steve for allowing her the opportunity to work with such a great cast, production team and crew. She has had the good fortune of working with some of the best directors in Denver: Painted Bread (Stage Crew at Theatre On Broadway), New Playwrights Festival (SM at the Bug Theatre), Spring Love (ASM at the Bug Theatre), Lost in Yonkers (SM at Mizel – Shwayder Theatre), Phantom (AD at Town Hall Arts Center), Snakebit and Stop Kiss (Stage Crew at Phoenix Theatre). misha johnson (Rita) attended the B.F.A. program of theatre performance at University of Colorado, Boulder where her favorite roles include: Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ensemble in The Laramie Project. Recent roles include: Molly in Jake’s Women and Miranda in Alchemy of Desire at the Bug Theatre, where Misha is a company member of The Bug Children’s Theatre Series.
lamecia landrum has done tons of costumes for over 10 years, primarily for the Theatre Group, but she does occasionally wander off somewhere else. That might be due to age.
billie mcBride (Director and Sound Design) directed Lost in Yonkers and Collected Stories at the Mizel Arts Center, Stop Kiss for the Theatre Group, and As Bee’s in Honey Drown at the Arvada Center. Also in Colorado Springs she has done several productions for the Fine Arts Center including Pippin, ART and South Pacific. Billie spent a number of years working in New York City. Her Broadway credits include Torch Song Trilogy, Safe Sex and A Kurt Weill Cabaret. Her touring credits include The Gingerbread Lady and Gypsy with Angela Lansbury. Soap Opera fans may have seen her in All My Children or The Guiding Light and she was recently seen in The Laramie Project for HBO, It’s A Miracle and The Shining. Last season Billie played Vivian Bearing in the Nomad Theatre’s production of Wit. Love and thanks to Lorrin... truly the best.
janet marea mcCauley (Costume Design) is excited to be part of her second production with Theatre Group. She also worked on costumes for Ruthless! The Musical at Theatre On Broadway. She currently works as a graphic designer for a local hat company. Janet studied fashion design and fine art at Colorado State University.
gia mora (Donna) has appeared as Lou in Road to Nirvana (Germinal Stage), Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors (Aurora Fox), Madge in Picnic (Aspen Theatre in the Park), and Celeste in Sunday in the Park with George (Nomad Theatre). She has appeared on-screen in several independent films, including the critically acclaimed Blanston, and spends her time not acting playing piano bar, dancing and writing plays.
steven neale has served as stage manager for the Theatre On Broadway for over six years for such shows as Gross Indecency, Ruthless! The Musical, The Laramie Project, Cabaret, Never the Sinner, Whyde Awake, Howard Crabtree’s When Pigs Fly, Corpus Christi, and Poor Super Man. Steven also is the designer of the Theatre Group’s programs and newsletters, as well as serving as Webmaster for the Theatre Group Web site. Thanks to Steve and Nick for the creative freedom, and all my great friends who have wandered into my life.
trina o’Neill (Eva) was last seen in Theatre Group’s Reaching for Comfort. Favorite productions include Playboy of the Western World, Poor Super Man, Pride’s Crossing, Private Eyes and Picnic. Trina is absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast and crew. For D.B.
denise perry–Olsen (Lil) was last seen in Jake’s Women at the Nomad Theatre. Other appearances include Dearly Departed and The Deer and the Antelope Play at the Avenue, and How I Learned to Drive for Curious Theatre Company. This spring she will be appearing in Harold Pinter’s Old Times at Bas Bleu in Fort Collins. Represented by Farrell Talent Management, she has also appeared in films and commercials shot in Denver. Thank you, Mike, for your brobdingnagian amount of love and support, and thank you Billie and Lorrin for your faith in me. It’s been a joyful experience.
george pulver (Sound Design) feels privileged to do technical work for Theatre Group in this production, as well as for past productions, including: Ruthless! The Musical, The Laramie Project, Never the Sinner, Whyde Awake, A Question of Mercy, Execution of Justice and Poor Super Man. nicholas sugar (Artistic Director and Production Manager) recently starred in Theatre Group’s award–winning production of Cabaret as the Emcee, and won a best actor award in 2002. Nicholas has also directed Gross Indecency, Ruthless! The Musical, Never the Sinner, A Question of Mercy, Howard Crabtree’s When Pigs Fly, The Blue Room, and the award–winning Shakespeare’s R&J. Other directing projects include: The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me, The Dying Gaul, Party!, Love! Valour! Compassion!, subUrbia, Psycho Beach Party, Howard Crabtree’s Whoop Dee Doo!, and Poor Super Man. Nicholas has been seen on stage in the critically acclaimedproductions of Corpus Christi, The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged), Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, and A Perfect Ganesh. He has worked as a director, choreographer with numerous theatres. Most recently choreographing theregional production of 8–Track: The Sounds of the 70s. Nicholas serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Theatre Guild.
steven tangedal (Executive Director and Light Design) started with Theatre Group in 1979, and has directed a wide variety of shows including the dramas Tracers, Burn This and Six Degrees of Separation; the musicals Cabaret, A…My Name is Alice, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Closer Than Ever; the comedies Jeffrey, The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged) and Tony ’n Tina’s Wedding – and the recent hits Parallel Lives, Beautiful Thing, Emma’s Child and The Boys in the Band. Steve hold a Music Education Degree and serves as the Executive Director for the Theatre Group.
terry ann watts (Rae) is delighted to be working with the talented cast and crew at the Phoenix Theatre. She recently appeared in the Summer One-Act Festival at Miners Alley Playhouse as Mrs. Sorken, and just completed shooting a movie of the week for the Animal Planet. In addition to numerous stage roles in the Denver area, she has been featured on the TV series “Busted” and Emmy winning “TV Confidential” for Rocky Mountain PBS.
david williams has stage–managed several productions at the Phoenix Theatre, including The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged), Lonely Planet, The EIGHT: Reindeer Monologues, Twelfth Night, Snakebit, Parallel Lives, Gertrude Stein and a Companion, Blue Room, and Food Chain. David has also been involved with productions at Theatre On Broadway, including Cabaret, A Question Of Mercy, and Porcelain. David’s worked with other local theatres, such as with The Avenue on Sylvia, and his most ambitious project to date was producing The Last Session at The Shop for Act Out Theatre Company.
lou anne wright (Sue) A professional dialect coach as well as an actor, Lou Anne holds an M.F.A. in theatre voice coaching and training from the National Theatre Conservatory. Favorite past roles include Boo Levy in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Mrs. Antrobus in The Skin of Our Teeth, and Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Lou Anne was most recently seen on television as Judy Shepard in HBO’s The Laramie Project.
